Hi, we are the Southland Boys U19 Basketball Team
Fraser Wiseman, Sam Whitaker, Keegan Irwin, Cooper Neilson, Laine O’Connell, James Parkes, Hayden Gutsell, Conner Ballantyne, Jayson Collett, Soul Tipu, Sydney Ashton. We have qualified for the Basketball NZ National tournament in North Harbour, Auckland, from 3 – 6 June. We hope to raise funds to pay for our flights to the basketball nationals through this iSPORT Foundation campaign.
Our team is a vibrant bunch of young men who through being a part of this team and tournament will experience the value of training and commitment, teamwork and its importance , challenge our skills and abilities against our peers. This experience will help to have a positive impact contribute to our personal growth both as players and as young men. It will help us as leaders and role models in our community. We will look forward to passing on our knowledge and experiences to our younger people in our lives.
