Description

“I am very proud of my son Joshua for his outstanding performance not only in his sports, but also in his schooling and as a young man in life general…

I have been fortunate to watch him develop and prepare himself for the greater world…coming from Austria at the age of 6 after his dad and I split up, we came back to South Auckland NZ as my siblings live here too, but since 10 years we’ve had no support from anyone else except each other. Working as a chef my shifts range from up to 12-16 hour a day/night away and sometimes up to 7 day weeks at a time….as time passed he got use to the idea of hardly seeing his mum home. I was always concerned that he may go off the rails and turn to drugs, alcohol etc…but thank god he followed his own right of path and became passionate with his sports and education…he started out training in his cousins garage at the age of 12, and has trained at Smac Gym for the past 2 years. During this time he has won a few medals and has gained much respect from his trainers and team. They are amazed how a young teenager has so much dedication and passion in his sport…they love how he helps the younger kids at training.

JOSHHis school colleagues and teachers are very proud of him for his achievements…I know he will do well in life, I just want him to have the chance to represent New Zealand in the sport he loves so much…he trains day and night, never misses a day, even when he’s sick.

His ambition after college is to study within the sports industry as a therapist, or teaching.

He deserves this!…please help him get over there and win us a gold!.

Thank You

Yours sincerely Joshua’s proud mother”

JOSHUA HAS BEEN SELECTED FOR THE WORLD MUAY THAI CHAMPS BUT LACKS THE FUNDS TO MAKE THE TRIP. PLEASE HELP HIM BY DONATING NOW!

Joshua is fortunate to have been selected in the IFMA Junior Amateur Muay Thai Championships to be held in Bangkok, Thailand 27th August 2016!.

He will be expected to travel one week prior to his training camp to acclimatise and train before the competition.

Joshua’s mother, works as a casual chef. As single parent living in south auckland as its cheaper to rent there, she has sole responsibility for her son, unfortunately Muay Thai Kick boxing is not recognised as a national sport therefore no funds are given to the youth. He would need the funds to basically get him over there, accommodation and some gear that would be required for the competition.
