We are struggling to keep up with the cost of competing in the regional and national levels. Having to miss out on crucial events like the U13 individual championship this year means missing out on the opportunity to be picked for the U15 NZ squad was a great disappointment to her. It was held in Rotorua, and we couldn’t afford to go. Recently she was selected for the U17 Junes Bevan team, representing central Nz. She will be competing in the U17 Australasia Championship in Perth next year.

“Please help us help Jessica reaching her goal. The extra money can help us put her in more training to get her at a more competitive level she will be facing next year. She is only getting 3-4 hours of training a week currently which is barely enough to get her at a top level. She is also doing some fundraising making cards to sell to help with the cost but that is not going to be enough.”
