Hi, I am Harper Tuakeu Rees! I am 14 years old and play Basketball!
I have been selected to represent Nga Hau e Wha Basketball at the Native American Indigenous Basketball Tournament held in Phoenix, Arizona, United States in July 2018!

I am a 14 year old boy attending Rosehill College. I believe through attending this tour I will further develop my understanding of culture, build on my knowledge of the game, and develop potential as a leader amongst my peers in my school and community. I aspire to be like Steven Adams one day and to fulfil my basketball dream.
I am proud to be representing and sharing Maori culture and excited about interacting with ‘other’ Indigenous youth to discuss world challenges of tomorrow! I am doing all that I can to raise funds for this incredible sporting opportunity but can not get there without your help!

I have been very lucky to be selected for this tour and feel it is a great opportunity for me to further explore and develop myself – personally, culturally and educationally.
