In 2014 iSPORT (formally For Everyone Charitable Foundation) gave Parafed Wellington a grant to allow some of the members to come together to participate in the adaptive ski programme on Mt Ruapehu. Amongst them was Mary Elizabeth Fisher, MNZM who is a New Zealand Paralympic swimmer that won a gold medal, two silvers and a bronze, on her debut at the 2012 Summer Paralympics.
