Deanwell’s students are challenged to achieve their personal best, take risks and experience success. This encouragement is not only in the classroom but on the sports field and 2013 focussed on increasing the number of children who participate in after-school sport. Hockey is one of the favourite sports at Deanwell with an awesome astro-turf, five keen teams ready to go….but no hockey goals!!! For Everyone provided a grant so that the school could purchase the goals and hopefully this will help encourage more kids into hockey at Deanwell. All the best for 2014!!!
