Description
I started playing at a very young age, Under 9 T-ball and then the junior grades softball with TOA Softball Club. My sole inspiration for playing softball is my family, My Mum Micheala Koko played rep softball at a young age and played for various clubs, ie: TOA, PCU and Poneke Kilbirnie, she also represented Wellington through the grades and at NFC level. My Koro Joe Koko also played top level softball for Island Bay and TOA. My Aunties played also as well as my sisters, Lydia, Jaenin and Kiaanei.
Softball unfortunately is an expensive sport especially when being selected for either National or International level. Back in 2015 I was selected for the NZ Junior White Sox World Series where we competed in Oklahoma, USA. A lot of the funding was done by my family alone, fund raisers, sausage sizzles, etc and it was alot of hard work. With your assistance this would help me achieve my goal towards in making the next level, the Womens Whitesox team and aim for an olympic birth.
WITH YOUR ASSISTANCE THIS WOULD HELP ME ACHIEVE MY GOAL IN MAKING THE NEXT LEVEL!
