Hi, I’m Nicole and I am 15 years old!

I have recently been selected to compete in the U15 Nationals for hockey this October and to travel to Australia with my school team in April next year!  However, I really need your help to get there! 

I was a South African schools athlete for 3 years and competed in high jump, hurdles, and long jump over in South Africa. I was also representing my region in netball and hockey as well!   When I came to New Zealand – I continued to enjoy athletics and won the high jump event at the Auckland Championships but did not have the time to pursue my career in athletics as I was also very committed to both hockey and rugby.

I made the decision to play club hockey for North Shore United and am still currently playing for this club.  At the club prize-giving event, I was awarded youth player of the year and most valuable player of 2017.

It has always been a dream of mine to travel overseas and represent New Zealand!  If I am able to raise the necessary funds for this trip, I will travel to Australia in April next year and will compete with pride.
