My Name is Finley and I am 13 years old. I have recently been selected to play for the New Zealand under 14 Inline team to compete in the 2016 AAU Junior Olympics, which is to held in Hawaii in July 2016. This involves playing at games against other teams in the world. I am currently New Zealand’s best goaltender in my age group and need to attend the Junior Olympics to extend my skills and gain International recognition which will take my skill level higher. I train 6 out of 7 days, which means I do put my social life on hold to perform at the highest level. This will be my 3rd year playing for New Zealand and my biggest achievement going to the Junior Olympics. My biggest goal is to get a International Scholarship. Unfortunately this sport is self-funded and to keep my skill up for Inline Hockey I need to travel to the North Island for training.My family does have a limited amount of money as I am 1 child out of 5. Please let me reach my goal.
