Description
Hi, I’m Cohen Stewart, I am 13 years old and I love playing cricket!
I am fortunate enough to have been selected for a Junior Club Cricket Scholarship. If I am able to raise the necessary funds, I will travel to England in 2018 for this incredible experience.
I was born and raised in Rotorua, New Zealand. We don’t have a big or strong cricket community here but there are always dedicated supporters. I hope I can be a part of improving the cricket community in Rotorua one day. I think that this trip and the experiences that I gain from it will be able to show others what is possible from little old Rotorua.
I am very lucky to have such a supportive family but really your help to get to England. I have started doing a paper run, am doing firewood raffles, mowing lawns and working at local events in Rotorua. I am always looking for opportunities to raise the funds for my trip.
I am the leading batsman for my age at John Paul College in Rotorua and have been selected for the Lakelands representative team for Year 7-8 for the last 2 seasons. I was also invited to the 2017 Bay Of Plenty player development programme. My latest achievement is being accepted into the Parley Cricket Club Junior scholarship programme to take place in England next year.
I really love and respect the game of cricket and am always striving to improve my skills both individually and as a team player. My ultimate dream is to be a Blackcap one day!
Please support me and help me get to England to follow my dreams!
I am sincerely grateful for your support
Thank you in advance
Cohen Stewart
