We were very impressed by the pro-active way that Aotea College are raising money for their new sport training facilities that will be used by the whole community. Rather than just asking for grants to make these improvements, they held a ‘Sportacular’ event and asked local businesses and funders to sponsor an aspect of the event. For Everyone were happy to sponsor a light pole and were even happier to see so many people from the local community being active, coming together not only to raise funds but participating in so many different sports…totally Sportacular!!! Well done Aotea College for having such a fantastic community spirit and best of luck with the improvements of your facilities.
