Hi, we are the St. Marys College Croquet team and we have qualified for the National Croquet Championships in Hamilton.
We all started playing Croquet at the beginning of this year. As soon as we heard about the opportunity to go to Hamilton for Nationals it became our goal. We have been practicing and training nonstop since then and it was an amazing feeling to know that we had qualified for the National competition. It will be a great chance to play lots of croquet, refine our techniques, and meet many like-minded young people.
We are needing to raise the necessary funds to cover food, travel, and accommodation.
We are extremely grateful to our amazing coach and manager Janet. Janet always has time for us and has taught us all the tricks of the trade! Janet, her husband Brian, and the other members of the Kelburn Croquet Club have been so supportive since the beginning of our croquet journey so we want to thank them all!
We started playing Croquet as best friends and this whole experience has brought us all so much closer! We are so excited for this opportunity and we can’t wait to show everyone how fun and rewarding Croquet can be!
