Nikita was very fortunate to be selected last year in her first international team – NZ International Softball Academy Under 15 Girls – to play in Australia. We ran raffles etc and managed to get her there with the assistance of very supportive whanau & friends and a bank loan.

Since attending this tournament Nikita has had great successes in her age grade including Top Pitcher at the recent National Under 17 competition and playing Premier 1 softball at 15 years of age.

She has now been selected in the Softball New Zealand Under 17 girls team to play in Sydney at the Friendship Games and we would really appreciate any financial assistance we can get to give her this opportunity.

We as a family live from payday to payday and Nikita and her younger sister are both very talented young softballers. We just want to be able to give our girls the opportunities that arise for them.  Sports is what keeps Nikita focused and confident and to date this season we have had to find $1500.00 for our children to play and compete in their chosen sport and represent Wellington at National Tournaments.

Playing for Wellington East Girls College in the Back to Back wins of the NZ Secondary School Div 1 championship, for Wellington in National age grade competitions, and for NZ International Softball Academy Under 15 team that traveled to Sydney in September last year, winning both tournaments that they played in (Sydney Blue Blaze and Sunderland Tournaments

To continue to represent NZ and is targeting the Junior White Sox team for the World Series in 2019.
