Maggie Franks has been competitively swimming since age of 10. She is now at the level of national & international competitions & the cost involved is getting a little unachievable. Maggie is off to Queensland in December for the State Champs with Central Swimming & is aiming for Aussie Age Groups in March next year & Olympic trials. Maggie also needs advice & support on diet & nutrition at this level of competition & also advice & support on juggling training & school commitments – going into year 11 next year, first year NCEA. Maggie has some pretty big goals and needs a little help in achieving them.
Maggie is extremely committed to her swimming, at the pool 5.30am three mornings a week and five nights for two hour training sessions. She gives every training session 100% effort every time, goes to every session & is never late. During the winter Maggie also manages to put Netball into her already busy schedule and is keeping up with school work.
To give Maggie a chance at the opportunities she needs to succeed she requires assistance to get to the competitions available.
$3500 will contribute towards the State Championships in Queensland in December.
