Description
Hi, my name is Jayne Ferguson
In January, I was selected to attend rehearsals and classes that would prepare me to dance in the world premiere of the ballet Ne Roi in Melbourne, Australia. This will take place in June this year and I would love to attend, however, this will not be possible without your support!
Please take a moment to read my story…
Two years ago I was selected to train under Anneliese Gilberd who used to be a dancer in the Royal New Zealand Ballet company. I currently dance six days a week, practising both at home and with my teacher. I am dedicated and I work really hard.
I have autism. This is very challenging for me and my family. I have many sensory and social challenges but I am determined to not let them stop me from doing what I love!
This year I am ready to take the first step towards achieving my goal of becoming the first ever autistic ballerina.
I need your help to get to Melbourne. I would really appreciate any donations big or small.
Thank you so much for listening to my story. Please help me to achieve my dream!
