Kia ora, I am Ben Alford and I have a huge passion for football.
I began to play football as soon as I learnt to walk! I loved it so much that at just 4 years of age I joined my first football team. I played for Marist Football Club until I was 12. At this point I was then selected as a Northland representative player. I am now 14 and I continue to play for Northland in the Auckland Metro League.
This year, I have been selected to play for Northland in the National Area Schools tournament following successful trials in the Tauraroa Area School team. This tournament will take place in July in Christchurch. It would mean so much if I was able to attend this tournament, however, as I currently live in Whangarei a trip like this comes with significant costs.
I am trying my absolute best to fundraise as much as I can towards this trip so that I can continue to follow my dreams of playing football and entering the Area Schools tournament for the first time.
I will not be able to get there without your help!
